Trump Organization Launches $1.5 Billion Luxury Golf and Hotel Complex in Vietnam
Hung Yen Province, Vietnam — The Trump Organization, in collaboration with Vietnamese real estate developer Kinh Bac City (KBC), has embarked on a monumental $1.5 billion project to construct a luxury golf and hotel complex in northern Vietnam. This expansive development, situated in Hung Yen province, encompasses 990 hectares and is poised to become a premier destination for high-end tourism and international events.
A Landmark Investment in Vietnam’s Hospitality Sector
The ambitious project features a 54-hole VIP golf course, luxury resorts, five-star hotels, and upscale residential villas, all designed to meet the highest international standards. The complex aims to serve as a venue for major events, including the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit scheduled for early 2027.
Eric Trump, Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization, expressed enthusiasm about the venture, stating, “Vietnam holds exceptional potential in the luxury hospitality and entertainment sector.”
Strategic Partnerships and Government Support
The development is a joint effort between the Trump Organization and Kinh Bac City, with additional investment from U.S. venture capital funds IDG and Horitus. A memorandum of understanding was signed on September 25, 2024, during a ceremony in Florida attended by former U.S. President Donald Trump, Eric Trump, and KBC Chairman Dang Thanh Tam.
Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has pledged full government support for the project, emphasizing its alignment with Vietnam’s development priorities and the strengthening of U.S.-Vietnam relations.
Economic Implications and Future Prospects
This investment marks a significant milestone in Vietnam’s efforts to attract foreign direct investment and enhance its global profile. The project is expected to generate substantial employment opportunities and boost the local economy. Additionally, it underscores the Trump Organization’s commitment to expanding its international footprint in the luxury real estate and hospitality sectors.
With the project’s completion targeted for early 2027, coinciding with the APEC summit, Vietnam is poised to solidify its status as a leading destination for luxury tourism and international events.
